Cheryl heads up the Education and Youth Programs team and oversees PF’s magazines. Born amongst the corn fields of Illinois, she most enjoys the prairie ecosystem, hence her enjoyment of pheasant hunting. She has been an advocate for getting kids outdoors and connected to nature her entire career. She’s worked for natural resource agencies in Missouri and Pennsylvania and for the National Wildlife Federation before coming to Pheasants Forever. She and her husband live in Hudson, Wisconsin, and enjoy canoeing, fishing, bicycling, gardening and about anything outdoors.

The conservation world lost one of its most special people on May 25 with the passing of Nina Leopold Bradley, daughter of Aldo Leopold. Her amazing life and devotion to the natural world inspired so many. While Nina was alive, Aldo Leopold was more real to all of us.
