Dog of the Day: “Deuce”

Duece

Travis Sims’ golden retriever, “Deuce,” made one last pheasant hunting trip this past autumn, ending a hunting career on a high note. “Deuce” passed away this winter.

Sorry to hear about Deuce. He’s in Rooster Heaven now. While it’s still fresh in your mind I highly recommend you do a journal of all of the “Deuce moments” you shared (Deuce moments are special hunts like this lase one and his first one or any special hunt or training session). Then you can re-read them and Deuce will live forever.
Good luck with your next puppy. I assume there will be a puppy

I feel for my friend for the loss of his longtime companion,we spent many a hour hunting pheasant with Duece, what a great dog,he will be truly missed. Not only by his family but also myself and my dog “Tucker” who spent many hunts with him. we made alot of good memories with him and they will stay in our hearts forever.

Hi Travis and our support to you in your loss. Your dog Deuce sure looked like a good one. I breed Brittanys and am listed on:

You can find many quality Golden Retrievers listed on that web site. Good hunting. Harold.
