Dog of the Day: Ready to “Tango” in South Dakota

Tango

Michigander Bradley Brunken’s yellow Lab, “Tango,” first experienced the pheasant fields of South Dakota at just eight months of age. She made her first retrieve that same year and hasn’t looked back. “As she matured, she has become a trusted hunting companion and we spend numerous hours together each fall doing what she does best – chasing pheasants,” Brunken says, “She hunts close in wide sweeping motions, gives me clear signals that a bird is near and retrieves downed birds with joy.” Now 5-years-old, “Tango” is a perfect companion. “Besides being a solid hunter, she is everyone’s best friend back home in Michigan.  Having a dog like this makes for good memories in the field.”
