Dogs of the Day: Like Mother, Like Son

David Baer and his 15-year-old son, Zac, had more than a little help on this South Dakota pheasant hunt from their German shorthaired pointers, “Piper” (chocolate colored, right) and “Burt.” The dogs make it a true family affair, as “Piper” is “Burt’s” mother.
