Dogs of the Day: “Belle” and “Duke”

Mark and Mollie Kroll of Forest Lake, Minnesota, love upland hunting with their pair of German wirehaired pointers, “Belle” and “Duke.” Mark takes his pointing duo – they’re two-year-olds from Hard Point Kennels who share the same father – to South Dakota in September to hunt sharp-tailed grouse, then returns in October and November for pheasant hunting.

TC Morrow is surrounded by German wirehaired pointers in “Socks,” “Black Jack” and “Nick.” “Socks” is a Versatile Champion with National Shoot to Retrieve (NSTRA) and North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association acclaim. Morrow is holding his Winchester Model 42 .410 shotgun.
