Asti

“Asti” is Dolores and Roger Eliasen’s Spinone Italiano. “My husband has taken a lot of friendly ribbing about his hunting dog,” says Dolores, who lives with Roger and Asti in Clear Lake, Iowa. “That is until they see him hunt. He finds birds that the labs and shorthairs have missed. A perfect hunting and family companion, a kind and gentle soul too. The most natural hunting dog we have ever owned.”

Cash

Seven Pines DaVinci, call name “Cash,” is Will Tremont’s three-year-old Italian Spinone. “Cash took this breather after we bagged this beautiful double near my uncle’s farm in southeast Iowa last fall,” Tremont says, “Thanks to the Louisa County Pheasants Forever chapter for helping with the habitat.”
